PODCAST FAQ
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio file (or sometimes a video file), usually an MP3, that you can download to your computer or subscribe to using an automatic feed. Once it is downloaded to your computer, you can transfer the file to a CD or to your mobile digital media player, such as an iPod, MP3 player or mobile phone (if it has the capability).
What do I need?
Computers now come equipped with a sound card and software that can play MP3 files. So, you can listen to the podcast directly from your computer or burn it to a CD and take it with you. But, for real ease, and to stay up-to-date with all the new podcasts that we publish, it is best to subscribe to the podcast using free podcast applications such as iTunes, iPodder or Juice. Once you have subscribed, your podcasts are updated automatically, which you can then transfer to your iPod, MP3 player or other portable device.
If you have another podcast tool already installed, you can simply copy the URL next to the podcast icon and paste that link into your application.
